If you have a Mac, then you can use a regular USB cable or USB Type-C cable, with a plug on the other end that matches the requirements of your DAC. The final thing you may well need is an adaptor cable. As we’ll see, the getting high-resolution lossless streaming can be a bit tricky with some devices and in some circumstances, and you’re not really going to know whether you’re receiving it unless your DAC can tell you. I would strongly suggest, though, one very valuable attribute of any DAC would be for it to give feedback on the received sampling rate.
